TEXT. Noeud qui se forme lors du tissage du drap. On enlève les nopes par la tonte (ROB.).
— P. anal. Noeud d'un tapis. La qualité du tapis obtenue est excellente: on compte, en général, 26 noppes par centimètre carré, mais leur nombre peut être augmenté jusqu'à 36 noppes par centimètre carré (THIÉBAUT, Fabric. tissus, 1961, p.189).
